One of the most interesting is the news that Zoë Kravitz will be stepping in to play the role of Catwoman alongside Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader. As with any casting for a superhero movie, there has been a lot of discussion about Kravitz taking the role....

Deadpool 2 co-writer Rhett Reese reveals that he wants X-Force to be a raunchier version of the X-Men. Having written the first two Deadpool movies alongside Paul Wernick (with the assist from Ryan Reynolds on the sequel), delivering both times, the screenwriter has an idea or two for how to effectively take advantage of the Merc with a Mouth’s no-holds-barred humor and fourth wall-breaking activities. And although Wade is soon joining a band of other mutants for a collective mission, Reese still has an idea of what he wants to see in the upcoming spinoff....

Warner Bros is launching today’s DC: Batman Bat-Tech Edition app for iOS filled with exclusive Batman content, new digital comic books, mini-games, AR filters, and more. Batman Bat-Tech Edition is a free app aimed at kids aged 6-12. With 13 different languages supported, this app plans to immerse users in narrative-driven technology-inspired activities with the power of Augmented Reality. The app lets kids join Batman’s crime-fighting team, the Knightwatch, and experience the world of Batman, learning how to use his Bat-Tech to fight crime and help defend Gotham City from his evil adversaries...

The Merc With A Mouth is back on everyones’ minds after fans were treated to a Deadpool 2 teaser before the latest R-Rated X-Men movie, Logan. The teaser, featuring Ryan Reynolds naked in a phonebooth, has now been followed up with some exciting new casting announcements for the upcoming film. We already knew that Cable will be appearing in the next Deadpool movie (although he has yet to be officially cast), but today we learned that Domino has also been confirmed for the project, and will be played by Atlanta star Zazie Beetz....

On Wednesday, the professional services giant said that the latest solution added to the Deloitte cybersecurity portfolio is called Managed Extended Detect and Response (MXDR), a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for “flexible, technology-enabled, human-powered security operations.” The MXDR SaaS solution aims to provide an “integrated, unified, composable and modular managed detection and response” suite to clients, including threat detection, response, and remediation capabilities. Cloud security workloads, zero trust identity management systems, insider threats, attack surface & vulnerability management, as well as log and analytics management are included in the suite....

The average American looks at their phone 52 times a day, up from 47 times last year. That’s one of the findings from the Deloitte 2018 Global Mobile Consumer Survey … Deloitte also found that almost two-thirds want to reduce that number, reports CNET. The 63% seeking to reduce their phone usage is up from the 54% reported by a Pew Research study in the summer. Apple has been promoting Screen Time as a way to help people reduce their dependence on the iPhone....

Digitimes is reporting that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has begun to ‘tape out’ the A11 chip expected to power the 2017-model iPhone. Taping out is the point at which the initial design is finalized and ready to create the photomask that will be used for manufacture. There is, though, still some way to go before the chip makes it into production. The A11 is based on a 10-nanometer process, which TSMC is still working on....

In the January 16th Destiny 2 patch, Bungie fixed the Wish-Ender bug that allowed it to do more damage than intended. But players have found a new way to break it after the patch. The new way to break Wish-Ender may be worse (or better) than before, depending on who one asks. Prior to the Destiny 2 patch, Wish-Ender was a wish granted to many who felt it did too little damage....

The hits just keep coming for Justice League, as fans have found yet another embarrassing goof in the much maligned DC team up film that has left the DC Extended Universe’s future in question. Justice League was meant to be DC’s version of The Avengers, a victorious convergence of the company’s biggest heroes. But Justice League’s problems began when director Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice underperformed at the box office and was met with savage critical reviews and a strongly polarized reaction from audiences who felt Snyder was taking the adventures of Batman and Superman into territory that was too dark....

Warning: SPOILERS for Superman #1 Writer Brian Michael Bendis stunned Superman fans when he announced that he was bringing the villain Nuclear Man from Superman IV: The Quest For Peace into the mainstream DC Comics continuity for the first time in history. Now it seems that Bendis is going a step further, lifting a major plot point from the same movie for his run on the Superman comic book! Released in 1987, Superman IV: The Quest For Peace is not only considered to be the worst Superman movie ever made, but is widely held to be one of the worst movies ever made in any genre....

The first episode of DC Universe’s Harley Quinn animated series, which premiered on November 29, 2019, is now available to watch online for free. Created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, Harley Quinn first appeared on screen in Batman: The Animated Series in 1992, voiced by Arleen Sorkin. She jumped into DC Comics proper in 1993, with her first appearance in The Batman Adventures #12. Her first live-action portrayal was in 2002’s Birds of Prey television series, played by Mia Sara, and her first feature film live-action portrayal was in 2016’s Suicide Squad, played by Margot Robbie....

The cast of Deadpool 2 offered their thoughts on who among them might have survived Thanos’ snap. The infamous gesture came in the climactic moments of Avengers: Infinity War, which saw the Mad Titan succeed in his ambition to wipe out half of all life from the universe. It was an event that left audiences devastated and excited for Avengers 4 in equal measure. The shocking events were recently revisited in the mid-credits scene for Ant-Man and the Wasp....

Deadpool 2 director David Leitch wants to see Deadpool and Captain America team up on the big screen. Fox is entering the final push to market the sequel to Deadpool. After releasing a brand new trailer and with Avengers: Infinity War just a week away, it won’t be long before Deadpool 2 is the superhero flick everyone can’t wait to see. Just as he did in the first movie, Deadpool will poke plenty of fun at the superhero genre, and isn’t slowing down with shots at the DCEU or Josh Brolin’s other Marvel role....

Starring David Call as Henry, a military doctor who came back from war with PTSD and an unrelenting desire to figure out how to help his fallen brothers and sisters, the differences between Depraved and Shelley’s tale are enough to present the film as a refreshing take, but the core of the story retains its potent message regarding scientific ethics, responsibility for one’s actions, and the brutality of the world we live in when someone doesn’t belong....

Dave Bautista has expressed interest in playing Clayface as part of the DC Extended Universe. Despite the fact that the actor is known for his portrayal of the strangely hilarious Drax in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he’s endorsed the idea of shifting into one of one of DC Comics’ most long-running villains. First appearing in DC Comics as far back as 1940, the moniker of Clayface would be assumed by a number of characters throughout the years....

David Fincher is directing the biopic Mank for Netflix about Citizen Kane co-writer Herman Mankiewicz, with Gary Oldman set to star. Although Mankiewicz is best known as Orson Welles screenwriting partner on Citizen Kane - for which they received the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay - he worked on many other films throughout his career, including The Wizard of Oz, The Pride of the Yankees and Duck Soup. The Mankiewicz biopic will be Fincher’s first feature film since 2014’s Gone Girl....

DC’s New Gods could have easily been part of Marvel’s Thor mythology. Jack Kirby’s Fourth World Saga was a sweeping epic that saw DC’s mightiest God’s battle against one another for power, balance and the anti-life equation. The series introduced and popularized beloved heroes and villains, including Mister Miracle, Orion, Darkseid, and Big Barda. The New Gods are important, influential DC characters. However, Jack Kirby originally intended them as a part of an entirely different universe, as Marvel Gods in Thor....
