Steps To Follow When Company Refuses To Give Service Under Warranty:

A company can’t refuse to give services to customers if their warranty term is working. If they refuse to fix the car under warranty, the customer has the right to sue the company. One can follow these steps if the company refuses to fix their motorcar under warranty. They are:

Be Honest:

Tell everything to the store’s manager about the condition of the car. Tell them about how many kilometers you drove, and be honest if you hit your vehicle somewhere. You can ask them to inspect the car if they don’t believe your words.

Take Your Documents:

If a company refuses to repair your car under warranty even after requesting so many times, you can bring your service book to the store to which all the services are marked. Bring any proof with you like bills, warranty cards, mechanical reports, photographs of the vehicle, etc.

Collect Evidence:

Even after the rejection, you can go to the store the next day with someone or can on the recorder to collect the evidence. There might be a possibility where they can say, you have a warranty remaining, but you can’t claim it, and there you can collect your evidence.

 Go To Them With Evidence:

You can go to the store with evidence if collected and ask the store manager to repair the car and say to them politely that you may go to the consumer rights office if they reject their agreement to give service.

Go To The Consumer Right Office:

The last option you can choose is to go to the consumer right office if they don’t understand even after so many attempts. Remember to take all documents of your vehicle as proof. After seeing all the proofs and agreements properly, the consumer rights protection organization can help you claim your service and give you justice.

Organizations One Can Go To If Car Companies Do Wrong To You:

There are different consumer rights organizations for every field. One can go to the below organizations if car companies give them unfair treatment. They are:

Motor Trade Association:

If your relative or friend is an MTA member, they can help you with your problem with the store. You can go with them to the store and can talk to the manager about the agreement of providing the service under warranty. If the store still rejects your agreement, the MTA can take strict action against it.

Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal:

If there is a dispute for some matter between you and the store, MVDT can help you solve the dispute by having a small talk with the store manager. If the manager refuses, MVDT can talk with the store owner about the matter and can solve the matter within three months.

Reporting The Store:

One can report the store to Motor Vehicle Traders Register or Commerce Commission if the store staff misbehaves with you. You can file a defamation case against the store.

One can claim their free services by following the above steps. One should remember to be calm in such situations and hand over such matters to the expert organization.
