Update 1: Screen Rant reached out to DC Universe PR to confirm the dates and they claimed that these are NOT the premiere dates for the upcoming 2019 original TV shows. The original article remains as is.

Update 2: The GWW provided us direct links to the dates in question originating from an official source that remained until after we asked for comment. We didn’t receive a response, but the dates mysteriously vanished after we reached out about them.

Update 3 (December 20, 12PM EST): Doom Patrol’s premiere date and trailer have been revealed, confirming that the original date we reported (the one PR told us was incorrect) was accurate. Assume all the dates below are likely accurate as well. We’ve reached out for comment.

Release dates have reportedly been revealed for several original TV shows set to debut in 2019 on the DC Universe streaming service. First announced in June of 2018, the DC Universe service gives subscribers access not only to streaming series, but movies and comic books. The service officially launched on Sept. 15 in conjunction with Batman Day, with a package of older DC-related series available at launch, including Batman: The Animated Series, Constantine and the original 1970s Wonder Woman.

But of course, the real attraction for new subscribers is the roster of upcoming shows in development specifically for viewing on DC Universe. That list of new shows includes Swamp Thing, a “scary and violent” take on the classic DC title, as well as the Titans spinoff Doom Patrol, which follows a group of super-powered misfits. DC Universe will also feature Stargirl, starring Brec Bassinger as the titular superhero, who is based on writer Geoff Johns’ late sister, as well as the animated Harley Quinn staring Kaley Cuoco as the voice of the popular character also played by Margot Robbie.

A DC Universe release schedule was previously revealed that gave a general idea of when each new title would be arriving, but now The GWW is reporting on the exact release dates for each of the above-listed series. According to what they found on the DC Universe media site, Doom Patrol will be first to arrive on February 15, 2019, followed by Swamp Thing on May 10, then Stargirl on August 9, 2019 and finally Harley Quinn on October 11, 2019. It was also previously revealed that Young Justice, which formerly aired on the Cartoon Network, will make the jump to DC Universe for season 3 beginning on January 4th.

Of course, the first big show to run on DC Universe is Titans, which first arrived on the service on Oct. 12 and is set to wrap up on Dec. 21. Centered on Dick Grayson/Robin and his team, Titans has gotten generally good reviews, currently holding an 82 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes. The season 1 finale will bring Batman into the fold, as the Caped Crusader and his sidekick square off in an epic showdown.

DC’s ambitious plans for their streaming service have certainly gotten off to a memorable start with Titans, and now they’re set to expand their slate with a buffet of offerings that feature a diverse array of popular DC characters from multiple eras. It will be interesting to see what else is in store for subscribers to DC Universe beyond the new series and the classic offerings from the past. Recent DCEU movies like Justice League and Wonder Woman are not as yet available on the service, nor are DC series like Arrow, Gotham and Supergirl, which could be considered a major turnoff for potential subscribers.
